Vítěz mnoha prestižních soutěží je novou hvězdou mezi internacionálními mladými
violisty. Již ve třiceti letech byl Nils Mönkemeyer povolán do Španělska jako
profesor na Escuela Superior de Musica Reina Sofia Madrid a na mnichovskou
Musikhochschule München. Od roku 2009 je profesorem na Musikhochschule
Carl Maria von Weber v Drážďanech. V roce 2010 přijal Mönkemeyer status
Artist in Residence Festivalu Mitte Europa.
